About Andy

Visionary. Exhorter. Creative.
Personal and Professional Development Growth Strategist

These are just a few ways to describe Andy Bishop Cox.

After seven years of dedicated work at a non-profit for girls in foster care, Andy took a leap of faith and made the decision to resign. After two years of prayer and reflection, she gained clarity on what God was calling her to do:

Empower others by creating safe spaces and providing resources for growth and development.

With a Bachelor's degree in Child and Human Development, a Master of Science in Counseling, and over ten years of experience in the non-profit sector, Andy combines her educational background with practical skills to effectively listen, communicate, and guide individuals through challenges. She fosters a safe space for others to explore their goals and aspirations.

Drawing from her experience in managing interns, volunteers, and performing HR functions, Andy has honed the ability to create supportive and empowering environments. These environments are conducive for facilitating meaningful conversations that help individuals understand their purpose, identify their gifts and talents, embrace their strengths, and realize their full potential.

By combining her education, experience, and passion, Andy is dedicated to supporting individuals, on their purpose journey through personal and professional development.

This heart for personal and professional development led Andy to establish The Good Spirit Center, where she serves as Founder & Growth Strategist. Through this mission-driven organization, Andy works to redefine workplace culture by helping teams build trust, foster connectedness, and improve collaboration. The Good Spirit Center also offers volunteer, internship, and career/workforce development programs.

Part of Andy's mission is equipping the next generation for success in the workplace. From teaching interpersonal skills and professional image branding to interview preparation and work ethic development, these programs empower young professionals to step confidently into their purpose.
